I updated two pages and added another page, so go and look at them. They’re kind of interesting.
actually, they aren’t very interesting.
so look at them when you’re bored and have nothing else to do.
Everyone has something wrong with them. The only difference between people is how obvious the differences are. :)

Wow. camp was really really really fun and awesome. And I learned so much, plus i can now play twice as long. So I really enjoyed it. I learned how to make reeds, so I was happy about that too. The oboe professor was awesome and I really loved our classes. Ironically, band was the least fun part about the camp since I didn’t practice my audition music a lot and was placed in a band that had seriously easy music. So I wasn’t happy about that, but at least I got stronger.
The bad thing was, when I came back from camp, I learned that my grandfather died. When we went to the funeral yesterday, I don’t know why but I couldn’t stop crying, which really surprised me. I think it was because I never had a chance to say goodbye.
The funny thing was that during the funeral, we met the president of the University of Georgia. After my parents told him that I skipped a grade in english, he gave me his business card and told him that I could email him whenever I had questions and that I would be welcomed to come to the University of Georgia. Anyways, I thought that was funny since it was at a funeral, and my eyes were all red, and since I was only starting high school. But he seemed nice, and Georgia is a pretty warm place.
btw, one of mom’s friends and her son is moving to America. They’ve been here for about one week. Her son has a kind of british accent. He also says he wants to keep it.
I bought The Host by Stephenie Meyer. It is my favorite book of all time. I didn’t think I would like it, but I’ve read it three times already and It’s terrific. Each time, it almost made me cry. If you can get inside of the book and get to know the characters, I think It’ll probably bring you close to crying.
Anyways, after I unpack, I have to repack for DCCYC this friday. I can’t wait to go.
So please look at my scrapbook, I’m going to be starting a new one soon, anyways.
Okay! Here’s the online scrapbook!~!
Wow so much has happened this week.
1. I went to Global Percussion School, and I found out that percussion can actually be fun!!! It was a ton of fun, and I learned so much. I can actually play a rhythm on the drumset now.
2. I’ve only just started packing for camp tommorrow. I’m probably going to forget something really important, like my oboe.
3. I finished my online scrapbook!!! I only have to put on the finishing touches and then I’ll put up the link here!
4. I had to do my music theory test. It feels so weird reading about how to play the oboe or the clarinet in a scientific way. Also did you know a quarter note is called a “crotchet”? I think I probably failed my music theory test. I hate minor keys, but I hope I didn’t switch them up with major keys!
That’s basically it.
I promise I will upload pictures, eventually…
I read Ink Exchange, Rumors and Ender’s Game.
I bought all three, but I read Rumors first at the bookstore.
Ink Exchange is okay, it’s not as good as wicked lovely, but it has a decent story.\
Rumors is is AMAZING. I loved it. I liked it better than the luxe. Annie is really going to like this one, i think.
Ender’s Game is SOOOO SOOOO GOOD. I didn’t expect it to be good at all, but once i picked it up, i didn’t put it down until I finished it, which was two hours later. My mom got really mad at me. But really, the story is AMAZING…It’s the best school required book I’ve ever read. I think it’s even made my list of my top twenty-five favorite books. I have to put that up soon….
I’ll also upload pictures whenever I get the chance…:)

Guess what?!
I broke my glasses!
So i was wearing my old ones, and after i was playing piano, i looked at my mom and said, “I lost my glasses”, so she tried to help me find them.
Two minutes later, she looked at me and said, “You’re WEARING your glasses”.
Oops, i guess my eyes haven’t adjusted…
Aww….the year’s over….so i, being the dork i am, made a list of all the people i’m going to miss this year.\
1. Alex: ’cause i probably won’t have any classes with her
2. Maxi: Same as alex, except i’ll probably have band with her sometime in the future
3. Katrina: First and last year of middle school with her, but i’ll see her in three years!
4. Mrs. Arndorfer: Awesome teacher
5. Jill: Oboe buddy no more
6. Everyone in my GT Class: Awesome people (specifically Alex, Max, Kristina, Chandni, Bhavya, Niveda, and maybe Thomas, Daniel and Sheldon)
7. 8th Grade Symphonic Band Members!!!!
I wish this year could have lasted forever…sniff.
but i probably would have gotten tired of all the quizzes and tests.
