Well again, the four hours that I spent at Relay were really fun and sad, but I enjoyed every part of it.
So here are the pictures

 

Okay, I think they were trying to do the cancan, but it didn’t really work out.

 

 

We decorated Larissa’s wheelchair.

 

 

Then, later that night, we tried to do the conga.

(sorry Casey, I told you i wouldn’t put it on the band board, but i’m putting it on my blog)

 

So overall, Relay for Life, was a really cool experience.

Okay, so last night was Relay for Life. I didn’t get to stay the entire night this year, mainly because I had a percussion practice the next morning at 8:00. And sorry, i cannot function on one hour of sleep.

So anyways. It was a lot of fun. I have a picture of some of our team doing the conga. it was funny. I’ll upload pictures later. um, i have a really bad memory, so i don’t really remember what we did.

But i do remember that the powerpoint was really sad.

And I do remember that the number of people who survived cancer, was either the same, or less than the number of people who died from cancer.

And I do remember that they said that I think (every minute?) someone is diagnosed with cancer.

So (at the risk of sounding like your parents, which alex thinks i already do), since we are the next generation, we must help find a cure.

Cancer is horrible. It takes away families and friends, and creates emptiness in so many places.

But for now. …

Know that while you live, you have the chance to change other people, and change the world while you’re at it.

So don’t give up.

Don’t throw your LIFE away.

Because that LIFE is IMPORTANT.

MAX!

We got a GOLDFISH!!! He’s really cool. Bob named him Max. When we first put him in the bowl, he had an anxiety problem and kept swimming around until he just plopped down.

We thought that he was just resting, but then he stopped breathing for a while, so we finally figured out that he was dying. so, we put fresher water in, and now he’s fine.

Well at least, we think he’s fine. He’s either sleeping, or he’s dying. i can’t really tell.

Tee hee hee. This was funny. Mr. Dunham made a deal with Casey, and he lost…so now, he had to wear an Aggie shirt for a day.

UIL is over! so i don’t have to think about bananas anymore!!!!

i hate bananas. i absolute hate bananas, banana milk shakes, banana pie, and banana flavors. so why does my blog have bananas on it? because mr. dunham says that bananas make you concentrate more and since tommorrow is UIL, i figured i needed to concentrate. especially since that today, i played the second note of the song in the wrong key. don’t tell anyone.

hello! YAY, i’m really happy! Katrina is playing PIANO in JAZZ BAND!!!

That’s AWESOME! do NOT ask me how this makes me happy, but it just does okay? okay…

The second thing that is not making me happy is that we have UIL tommorrow. My reed still occasionally squeaks so….that’s not good. On the plus side, i get to pack a sack lunch tommorrow for UIL! and I get to eat with the sixth graders!!! YAY!
